The Drama Club is a vibrant club for children, teens and adults based in Speldhurst Village Hall and Christchurch on the High Street in Tunbridge Wells.
We explore music, drama, and movement through a wide variety of acting games and fun activities. Our club is a totally safe place that aims to explore and promote creativity. Every individual is valued and encouraged for being exactly who they are. We focus on enhancing skills and working together towards the occasional relaxed sharing for parents and friends. Whether you or your child are very shy or super confident we will be able to help facilitate a great time and encourage huge personal growth.
A Little About Me
My name is Bethan Walker, I live right in the heart of Speldhurst with my husband and two children. I am a professionally trained actress. I have worked in theatre, film, radio and television for 15 years. I also have many years of experience working with young children in various settings, having run children’s groups, led workshops in schools, worked one to one with children from tots to teens and now having run this amazing club for the last two years.
Having been in youth theatre for many years with expert leaders, I know full well the benefits of a loving and encouraging environment to explore drama as a young person. It is a real honour to finally be bringing these skills together to run The Drama Club.
